Who we are
KidTripz is a family road trip planning app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.
What data we collect
We collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email address, phone number, trip origins and destinations, vehicle type, dietary and accessibility preferences, and any feedback or stop reviews you submit. We also store a device identifier in your browser to associate your trips with your device.
How we use your data
Your data is used to generate personalised trip stop suggestions, save your trips for future reference, send you relevant trip-related communications (if you opt in), improve the App based on feedback, and respond to your reviews and feedback.
AI and third-party processing
Trip stop suggestions are generated using AI models. Your trip preferences (but not your personal contact details) may be processed by these models. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data retention
Your trip data and feedback are retained for as long as your account is active or as needed to improve the service. You may request deletion of your data at any time via the App Feedback form.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, please contact us via the App Feedback form.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to save your device identifier and draft trip information. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
